NEW YORK (Christian Examiner) – A new video produced by the "Islamic Revolution Design House" depicts a vast alliance of Islamic jihadists overlooking Jerusalem and then marching into the city.

The video, which no doubt reinforces the opinions of those who believe the United States should not be negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran and likely sends shivers down the spines of prophetic watchdogs, calls on Muslims to unite and for Israel to be "erased from the annals of history."

When will the attack occur? The video does not say, but it describes Israel's annihilation as "inevitable."

Israel must be erased from the map of the world. These are the golden words Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him) uttered. Why do we assert the obligation of erasing Israel from the world, and not speak of erasing America and other unjust countries from the world? We in Iran say slogans in marches, Death to Israel, Death to America, Death to the English, and so forth and so on.

Shot in a sort of comic book style with the same super-imposition and chroma key effects that made the movie "300" popular, the video features three key components to the Islamic alliance – all Shiite. Those include the Iranian Shia Badr Organization, the Kassam Brigades of Hamas, and Hezbollah.

Hamas fighters in the video, clad in black masks, don their iconic green headbands, while Hezbollah fighters put on their yellow headbands.

A statement at the end of the video claims, "The youth will certainly see that day when it arrives."

This is not the first video Iran propaganda forces have produced. In January 2015, as nuclear negotiations were taking place between Iran and the United States, another Iranian extremist group produced a three-minute video showing nuclear weapons being dropped on Israel and American planes – coming to the aid of Israel – being blown out of the sky.

Last month in Beirut, Shiite Islamic leaders gathered for the inaugural meeting of the General Assembly of Islamic Resistance Scholars (in Arabic, "Ulema"), Algemeiner reported. The theme for the meeting was "Unity for Palestine" and the group began its meeting with a pledge from the Quran which calls for the destruction of Israel.

According to the Middle East news site, Hezbollah's leader Hassan Nasrallah called for the elimination of Israel, a "cancerous tumor" in the region. He said Israel was "headed for extinction" as Islamic forces moved to achieve "final victory over the Zionist scheme."

"Allah Almighty wants our Ummah (the Islamic nation) in its final victory over the Zionist project and in restoring Palestine and Jerusalem to be worthy of this huge historic victory and to be worthy of preserving this victory and not to lose it as many victories have been lost," Nasrallah told the conference.

Algemeiner also reported that Muhammad Hasan Zamani, a former Iranian official who leads the Department of International Islamic Madrasas for the General Assembly of Islamic Resistance Scholars, said there will be no peaceful solution with Israel and no Jewish state in the future.

"Israel must be erased from the map of the world. These are the golden words Imam Khomeini (may God have mercy on him) uttered. Why do we assert the obligation of erasing Israel from the world, and not speak of erasing America and other unjust countries from the world? We in Iran say slogans in marches, Death to Israel, Death to America, Death to the English, and so forth and so on," Zamani said at the conference.
