Office Depot apologizes for refusing to print pro-life prayer

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (Christian Examiner) -- Office Depot is apologizing after they turned away a Roman Catholic who wanted to print copies of a pro-life prayer.

It happened in Schaumburg, Illinois – a suburb of Chicago.

Maria Goldstein wanted them to make 500 copies of "A Prayer for Planned Parenthood."

But a store worker told Maria no — that her pro-life prayer violated company policy.

The Thomas More Society – said Office Depot's actions amounted to religious discrimination.

This controversy appears to be short-lived because Office Depot had a change of heart and apologized.
