Madonna Rebel Heart Tour 2016 news: Madonna to hold second concert day in Manila
Madonna's Rebel Heart Tour-Manila will have its second and last show on Feb. 25 at the SM Mall of Asia in Paranaque City, Manila.
The "Like a Virgin" singer arrived in Manila on Monday, Feb. 22, and fans have been up and ready to join her for a 2-night concert that started on Feb. 24. These performances are part of Madonna's Rebel Heart Tour in support of her album of the same name.
Ticket prices for this tour are not easy on the pocket, however, with Forbes dubbing it as the most expensive concert for 2015. Philippine ticket prices range from the cheapest at $66 (PhP3,150) for general admission up to a staggering $1,200 (PhP57,750) for a VIP ticket. However, it seems fans were not dazed as tickets for the concert sold out fast.
Despite her hectic concert schedule, the pop icon still found the time to visit and do some charity work in Manila, much to the happiness of the kids of Bahay Tuluyan Foundation and Hospicio de San Jose.
The Rebel Heart Tour is the singer's 10th concert tour and features the songs from the album "Rebel Heart." This is the pop icon's 13th studio album released in March 2015 with the hit songs, "Living for Love," "Ghosttown," "Heartbreak City," and "Hold Tight." Madonna also collaborated with Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper and no less than former boxer Mike Tyson for her latest offering.
Apart from her new songs, it is said that Madonna's all time classic hits such as, "Vogue," "Like a Virgin," "Who's That Girl," "True Blue," and "Material Girl" are also part of the show.
The tour is divided into five legs. Having finished North America and Europe, Madonna is set to finish her concert's fourth leg in Singapore on Feb. 28 before starting its fifth leg in Auckland, New Zealand on March 5.
