'The Young and The Restless' spoilers, plot news: Adam to face tough decisions, Dr. Anderson's murderer to be revealed

In the upcoming episode of "The Young and The Restless," Adam will have to make tough decisions, especially on who he will remain loyal to.

For a start, Adam (Justin Hartley) will find himself in a difficult state with his father, Victor (Eric Braeden). With Noah and Luca teaming up to overthrow his grandfather, Adam is faced with a decision about compromising the real identity of baby Christian.

Furthermore, things are not going well for Adam and Chelsea due to the former's association with the goings-on of Victor. In the previous episode, it has been shown that Chelsea was intent on leaving Adam and only decided not to after he disclosed information on Luca.

Things became even more complicated when Luca told Adam that he would tell Billy about their arrangement. This transpired after Adam coerced Luca into leaving town.

On the other hand, Paul and Dylan will land in Fairview to uncover the reason behind the death of Dr. Anderson.

Celeb Dirty Laundry has reported that although everyone will be shocked by the untimely death of Dr. Anderson, Sage takes the blow more seriously than everyone else as she sees Patty's sweater drenched in blood. Nick and Sharon proceed to tell her that the blood is Dr. Anderson's, leading Sage to believe that Patty committed the crime.

In addition, it was revealed that the upcoming episode will expose who the murderer is. The episode will also show a flashback where Dr. Anderson, having confessed that she has developed feelings for Nick, will try to stab Patty with a syringe but the latter counters it, causing her to attack Dr. Anderson with a letter opener.

Sage is led to believe that Dr. Anderson has brought upon her own death due to the secrets she had been hiding. Paul, on the other hand, will try to comfort Patty, telling her that she is not the one to blame.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Marisa will meet and talk about Noah's secret.
