ANAHEIM, Calif. (Christian Examiner) – When an Orange County sheriff's deputy pulled a woman over for a traffic violation, he looked a tad embarrassed.

He realized pretty quickly the woman dressed in a pink sweat jacket was his wife, who tried to explain she was hurrying to work.

"You got to be kidding me right now," she laughed. "What are you doing?"

"Hello m'am," he said.

"Mike, what are you doing?"

"It's deputy!" the officer said, citing her a violation code for riding in a carpool lane with just one person in the car, and asking her to produce her license and registration.

With some amount of sarcasm, she told him she was not in violation, and he told her they would argue about it later.

She shows him her paperwork and they both smile.
