MercyMe among featured artists on Todd Starnes Christmas Eve 'holiday hoedown'

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (Christian Examiner)—The radio version of "The Todd Starnes All-American Christmas" will debut on Christmas Eve. Viewers can also catch the show on the web at www.foxnews.com.

The show features Starnes, along with performers such as MercyMe, Laura Story and Jazz legend Kirk Whalum. Evangelist Franklin Graham will also be on the show.

Filmed at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tenn., the show includes the 300-voice Bellevue Singing Christmas Tree and an orchestra with "45 fiddlers."

"Yes sir – we're going to have a terrestrial and digital holiday hoedown!," Starnes wrote in an article on the Fox News website.

The show was filmed before a 3,000-member audience of "fans from across the country."

"This show is going to put the jolly in your holly, folks!" Starnes wrote.

Bellevue Baptist Church will send DVD copies of their annual Singing Christmas Tree Spectacular to VA hospitals and VA nursing throughout America. Anyone who buys a copy will have an opportunity to purchase an additional copy at a discounted price for veterans.
