Obama's silence on radical Islam puts us all in danger

WASHINGTON (CHRISTIAN EXAMINER) -- In a video commentary reacting to President Barack Obama's Jan. 20 State of the Union speech, FOX News commentator Todd Starnes points out Obama's lack of mention of a major issue many are addressing worldwide. 

"President Obama refused to acknowledge last night that Islamist extremism is even a theme!" Starnes says.

Starnes cites a recent poll of registered voters that shows 64 percent believe the threat from Islamic extremists is "increasing," while 29 percent believe it is "staying the same," and only 4 percent believe it is "decreasing."

"Let's be clear," Starnes says, "Baptists are not beheading journalists; Lutherans are not stoning women; [and] Catholics are not slaughtering cartoonists.

"The President may not declare war on radical Islam, but radical Islam has declared war on us."
