Women of Faith launches 04 tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Irrepressible Hope, is the theme for the 2004 Women of Faith Tour, which is scheduled to hit 27 U.S. cities.
New to the tour will be special guests Evelyn Husband, widow of Columbia shuttle commander Rick Husband, and Laurie Hixson-Smith, an award-winning designer from TVs Trading Spaces.
The tour, which starts Feb. 27 in Shreveport, La., will also stop in Spokane, Wash, April 16 and 17; Anaheim, Calif., June 18 and 19; Denver, Colo., Aug. 20 and 21; and Portland, Ore., Sept. 17 and 18.
The tour will make a return stop to Anaheim on Sept. 10 to 11. Its one of two repeat visits. The conference will also be in Philadelphia twice. Another stop to the Pacific Northwest will include a Nov. 12 and 13 conference in Vancouver, B.C., the only Canadian venue on the schedule.
The featured speakers for the event include Sheila Walsh, Marilyn Meberg, Luci Swindoll, Patsy Clairmont, Thelma Wells and Nicole Johnson.
In addition to Husband and Hickson-Smith, the tours other special guests will include Patty Cabrera, Babbie Mason, Kathy Troccoli, Nichole Nordeman, Tammy Trent, CeCe Winans, Darla Walker, Natalie Grant and the Women of Faith Worship Team. Not all of the special guests will appear in every city.
The conference costs start at $79, with additional packages that include a pre-conference featuring Jan Silvious and Chonda Pierce. Early bird discounts are also available.
